WorshipGH provides an online church and community portal. This policy explains the information the portal processes when you visit, create or use a member account, or choose Google sign-in. The portal is operated for WorshipGH. WorshipGH provides the technology; the church manages its member accounts and the church content it publishes.
Information we process
Depending on the features you use, the portal may process account details such as your name, email address, phone number, username, church membership, role, and a protected password hash. It may also process information you provide or create while using church features, such as posts, event activity, messages, media, livestream activity, and notification preferences.
For sign-in security and troubleshooting, the portal may record account activity, the time of an action, your IP address, and browser user-agent information. Essential session and security cookies are used to keep sign-in and security checks working.
Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides WorshipGH with your Google account's stable identifier and verified email address. The sign-in request asks only for OpenID identity and email. WorshipGH uses this information to link an existing active member account with your Google identity or, if no account with that email exists for the current church, create a new active member account. The Google identifier and verified email are retained for future sign-ins, and a confirmation message is sent to the verified email address. If Google does not provide your name, the account name is based on the email address. The account receives the Member role and a randomly generated password that is not sent to you.
WorshipGH does not receive your Google password or request access to your contacts, calendar, files, or other Google account data. Google processes your sign-in according to its own privacy policy and account settings.
How information is used and shared
Information is used to operate member accounts and requested portal features, authenticate users, protect accounts and the service, provide support, and meet applicable legal obligations. Member information may be available to authorized administrators of WorshipGH for church administration. WorshipGH does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
Information is handled by the hosting and database providers that operate the portal and by Google when you choose Google sign-in. These providers process information to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to protect users, the church, or the service.
Retention and your choices
Google identity and email details remain linked to your member account while the link and account are active, unless an authorized administrator removes them sooner. Temporary Google sign-in flow records expire after ten minutes and are removed when the flow is completed or expired records are cleaned up. Security and audit records are kept only as needed for service operation, security, and recordkeeping.
Google sign-in is optional; you can continue to use your account's other available sign-in method. To request access to, correction of, deletion of, or unlinking of your account information, contact your church administrator using the contact details below. Requests may be subject to account security checks and recordkeeping obligations.
Security and changes
WorshipGH and the church use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect account information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This policy may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The current version will be published on this page.
