The graduates, after going through eight months of biblical studies, have won for themselves a Diploma Certificate in School of Ministry and Mission and a Certificate of Ordination.
The event is observed twice every year under the auspices of Bishop (Dr.) M.J. Phillips who is the chairman of INTER-NOCC, president of Fountain Bible Academy and founder of Firehouse Chapel international. The day’s activity marked the organization’s eleventh segment of ordination, graduation, elevation, and licensing.
In a short speech delivered by Bishop (Dr.) M.J. Phillips, he emphasized that INTER-NOCC as an organization is commissioned to raise end time soldiers for God. Their purpose is to look out for one another as a group and not as individuals operating solely. Hence, the graduates are entitled to welfare packages that the organization gives to its members.
Aside ordaining the twenty-four graduates, the event also witnessed the elevation of two pastors of the Firehouse Chapel and issuance of license to twelve other graduates who had completed their field attachment.
Bishop (Dr.) M.J. Phillips also seized the opportunity to confer an Honorary Doctorate degree on five outstanding personalities who had contributed immensely to the growth of INTER-NOCC. Bishop described them as “men and women with integrity who have made tremendous impact in God’s ministry through various media platforms and NGO initiatives.
The celebrants were Apostle (Dr.) Emmanuel Fraser (founder of Southarvest Apostolic Commission), Prophet (Dr.) Jerry Justice Yeni (founder of Word Power Prayer Ministry), Rev. (Dr.) Pamela Ekemode (founder of Faith Army Chapel Int.), Apostle (Dr.) Francis M.W. Akpabeh (founder of Greater Height Ministry), and Apostle (Dr.) E.O.F. Omoboriola (founder of The House of Latter Glory).
Taking inspiration from Isaiah 3:1-7, Bishop Edward Abotsi charged all the celebrants to be true leaders of the church with the urge of serving people and making an impact in their family, nation, and continent at large.
INTER-NOCC is a government approved registered umbrella organization for the clergy with branches in Ghana and other African Nations. Since its inception in 2012, the organization has stamped their authority on not less than a hundred and fifty ordained pastors.
